- Perform an access point audit. The purpose of this audit is to determine whether the deployed access points are consistent with the policy.
- Identify access points. Using a standard wireless client, SystemExperts will identify access points and document their details (i.e., where they were discovered and characteristics of them, such as vendor and type). The intent of this exercise is to assess whether or not known access points are broadcasting their signals to unexpected areas and to detect unknown access points.
